Announcing the Back to School Drive

Every new school term, families across Bukomansimbi face the same hard choice: pay for their children’s scholastic materials, uniforms and school fees, or cover food and basic needs at home. For many of the children and young people Friends of Bukomansimbi supports, that choice can mean missing weeks — or an entire term — of school.

The Back to School Drive is our ongoing campaign to make sure that choice never has to be made. Each donation helps us provide scholastic materials, uniforms, shoes, and school fee support directly to children and young people in our community, so that a lack of funds is never the reason a child falls behind.

We are raising $10,000 to support as many children as possible this year. Every gift, from $10 upward, brings a child closer to a full kit of exercise books, pens, a uniform and shoes, and paid school fees.
